Oh man what a blast that was! You guys are awesome. I felt that it was a great practice, and I firmly believe that feeling has nothing to do with the Crown I found in Big Hand’s fridge.

Speaking of Dave, he was kickin’ ass and taking names on those skins! Way to go man!

My personal favorite last night was Baker Street. I think that was some sweet guitar work. I also enjoyed Brandy (which was suggested should lead straight into Sister Golden Hair – I think that’s a capital idea even though it’s technically not a one-hit wonder). I also liked Sex and Candy, and Chevy Van. I think we did pretty well on My Sharona, though I think that’s one of the songs where I tried to blow through the solo. Oops.

I think we did better this time on Smoke From A Distant Fire and Stuck In The Middle With You. Black Betty went well, as did Whip It and Green Onions.

I need some SERIOUS vocal help on Safety Dance. If I can’t work it out, Wes may have to take that one and let me stick with the harmonies. I also need to work on Gimme Some Lovin’ and We’re Not Gonna’ Take It.

There were some impromptu jams, which I think, among others, included Interstate Love Song, Crossroads, and Born To Be Wild.

There were many memorable quotes of the evening, but I’ll only mention two.
“I downloaded the tabs for Black Betty and had nightmares for two days” ~ Rodney “You give it to ‘em one time to catch on, then two more times to sing along. You get in and get out.” ~ P
