If you weren’t on the list, it ain’t that hard to get there. Just ask. There was much merriment. The Big Hand extended family knows how to throw down.

We have good news and bad news. The good news is that there is now a new huge sign at the practice facility boldly showing the band’s logo. Dave promptly nailed it to the wall. With a pipe wrench. And hit his thumb. His drumming didn’t suffer. The bad news is that I’m sad to report the death of the largest freestanding dandelion plant in the world. It formerly resided on Dave’s front porch. We observed a moment of silence.

We had a really good practice last night. This edition of the bi-monthly BigHandDave newsletter will be just a bit abbreviated. Sadly, my notes from practice vanished and memory can only fill in so many holes. Again, we had a practice where we played a lot of things for the first time.
