bhdbg.jpgWe had a really good practice last night. It was a ‘work’ practice, thanks to Dave, who can be a tough taskmaster. We worked on songs and parts of songs over and over again because we needed to learn some things. It’s good to have these kinds of practices though, as it means the band is growing up, and is playing music now to learn it instead of simply to jam to it. It’s a good thing. It’s a very good thing. Just For You Know

If the way the website looks changes its probably because I’m playing around with it. If there was a look that you actually liked remember what it was and let me know of if you have issues with the current look you can let me know as well.

This is kinda cool. Using 3rd party software to edit the post

new-3.jpgJust when I think that Big Hand Dave has hit a wall, we go and have a practice like we did last night. Yep, that’s right. We are bona-fide rock stars. I, for one, felt positively sassy. And as a bonus, we have three new songs that were recorded by our awesome sound engineer, Jeff. Hopefully, Pump (aka Rodney) will have them up on the website soon. Last night everybody seemed to sync. And even though Dave was suffering from a harsh cold, he remained a trooper throughout.

Note: This posting does not necessarily reflect the memory or beliefs of those in attendance or that of the band since our “normal” poster (we missed ya JD) was unable to attend the extra last minute practice and we have had to let Dave write it. Other than that it was a spectacular practice. The posting below has been edited as necessary to preserve the dignity of the band’s image regardless of the drummers artistic take on things.

This practice was without our gyrating lead man (JD) as it was not a scheduled one and developed late in the game. Rodney and I (Dave) decided that if him and I made it clear to Wes and PJ that him and I were going to be working on some songs that they would be guilted into showing up, and our plan worked! I must say it was a really good practice, and without our front man doing the vocals, we realized how much we need him. We need you JD! Come back, come back to hell, we many fine nice things here
